Data lies at the core of our operations. Our team handles vast amounts of data using cutting-edge methods. This empowers us, along with other teams like Fraud & Payments and Responsible Gaming, to make informed decisions based on trustworthy information. From a Technical point of view you will be working with: Azure and Python but also with Kafka / Eventhubs.
Your contributions enable the Data Engineering team to construct a robust data platform supporting the organization's needs and facilitating real-time detection of fraud, anti-money laundering, and potential gambling issues. Through this, you directly contribute to fostering a joyful, healthy, and active Netherlands. As a Data Engineer, you excel in:
- Crafting streaming data solutions that cater to various engineering, data, or business-oriented teams.
- Building and managing infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring automated testing and deployment of your creations.
- Providing assistance through comprehensive documentation, tutorials, and guidance for users with diverse technical backgrounds.
- Collaborating with business-oriented team members and other technology teams to deliver effective solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Job Requirements

- Your educational background, professional certifications, and/or proven expertise in Computer Science or Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in constructing data engineering solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, familiarity with data engineering principles, and a solid understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with streaming solutions, database design, data modeling, and NoSQL databases.
Additionally, for this role, you must demonstrate a capability to tackle intricate data challenges.

Terms and Conditions
As a Data engineer we can offer you:
- Salary between 4600 and 6400 euro gross a month, depending on your experience
- a position for 32 - 40 hours per week
