As a Software Security Engineer with us, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to revolutionize healthcare in The Netherlands. Our teams are continually engaged in software development, problem-solving, and fostering collaboration to empower individuals to take control of their health. At our company, we embrace a microservice architecture and utilize cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Helm, Golang, Rust, and FHIR.
 

Your primary responsibilities as a Software Security Engineer will encompass:

• Security consulting: Leading our software architecture's security aspects and serving as the main point of contact for software security matters.
• Security testing: Identifying and rectifying weaknesses in our software.
• Security engineering: Implementing security measures to fortify our product's security.
• Implementing security controls: Configuring firewalls and threat detection systems.
• Documentation & compliance: Maintaining records and policies while ensuring adherence to security standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• (Java) Software development: Contributing to our software products, with a focus on security.

Functie eisen

• A degree in computer science, with a specialization in software security, or a technical degree with a few years of software security engineering experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of independently solving complex challenges.
• Familiarity with our technology stack, including Java Spring Boot, Rust, and Kubernetes 
• Eagerness to acquire new technical skills and stay updated with emerging trends.

• A competitive salary, commensurate with your education and previous experience, up to €5000 per month.
