Job Description

Join this team as an Embedded Systems Engineer where you'll be part of an R&D team working on ensuring the success of our products from start to finish. This involves more than designing new products, as you will also contribute to the development of production tooling, algorithms for data processing, and data visualization on web platforms. As a specialist in a multi-disciplinary team, you'll focus on developing embedded software in C/C++ and Python, with an affinity for electronics. You'll be responsible for maintaining quality requirements and overseeing product development, including identifying areas for improvement. In this role, you'll be working with wireless communication technologies such as LTE-M, NB-IoT, and LoRa and firmware running on microcontrollers from ST or Espressif.

Job requirements

  • Take the lead and showcase your skills as a fearless medior to senior embedded systems engineer.
  • Hold a bachelor or master degree in Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems and stay up-to-date with the latest embedded systems technology.
  • Possess a deep knowledge of C/C++ and Python, with the ability to design software architecture and conduct CI/automatic testing.
  • Gain an edge with experience in hardware design and wireless communication technologies.
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant work experience and showcase strong analytical thinking and conceptual articulation.
  • Be an excellent communicator, able to take ownership, and work well in a team.
  • Plan well independently and possess a good proficiency in the English language in word and writing.
  • Reside in the Netherlands, ideally near Delft.
