As a QA Engineer in our Software Development team, you will have the opportunity to test cutting-edge radar technology. Your role involves ensuring that our code matches the innovation of our hardware, guaranteeing flawless software performance. You will be part of the R&D Software team, collaborating closely with other R&D teams to collectively ensure product quality. Reporting to the Head of R&D Software, you will receive support and guidance.

Job Description

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for software applications to achieve maximum test coverage and efficiency.
2. Evaluate test results, communicate potential problems and solutions to the team.
3. Execute automated tests, analyze results to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and maintain overall product quality.
4. Conduct backend testing, integration testing (system test), and API testing.
5. Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing.
6. Contribute to improving testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in test automation.
8. Ensure clear registration of reports and outcomes.
9. Manage the maintenance and expansion of our test suite.

Functie eisen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of software testing experience.
• Proven experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, TestNG).
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or SQL.
• Additional experience with Robot Framework, Linux, Git, or Jira is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Agile working and comfortable with modern tools, Cloud solutions, and techniques.
• Patient and structured working approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English, with knowledge of Dutch as a plus.
