Our client is a very big platform active in more than 15 countries around the world and more than 100 + employees. As a DevOps is a real play yard with a big migration going on to AWS. You will work on Continuous integration and Continuous deployment and build an efficient CI / CD strategy alongside optimzing to the developer experience.
Job description
- Work in a platform team and help the team come up with solutions to improve technical performance, team performance and security.
- Improve performance and stability of the local Dockerised development environment for both Linux and MacOS.
- Improve performance and stability of the Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
- Setup and manage servers in a cloud environment.
- Create and maintain IaaS scripts using Ansible.
- Actively monitor servers, databases, etc and escalate potential issues.
Job Requirements
You have to have knowledge off
- Senior DevOps engineer for Linux-based platforms
- Must have in-depth knowledge of Docker / containerisation
- Must have in-depth knowledge of CI/CD strategies (preferably Gitlab)
- Must have in-depth knowledge of network engineering (load balancers, proxies, jump hosts, subnets, etc)
- Must be able to proactively advise the team on improvements
- We are currently assessing migrating to AWS. If we do migrate, this list will include: “Must have advanced knowledge of AWS
